email@example.com there everyone - my name is Gina, and i own flour. sugar. eggs. i wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about your new neighborhood bakery & sandwich shoppe right in the heart of beautiful historic Germantown. it’s just a couple of blocks from downtown and a short hop from metro center.
flour. sugar. eggs. is a bakery where everything is baked fresh daily and nothing is prepackaged. Croissants are made the old school french way - no machines - all hand rolled and filled. It takes 48 hours from start to finish for a batch of croissants, but it’s so worth it. The danish, cookies, scones, muffins - all are hand made using the old school classic methods.
the ingredients are purchased locally whenever possible but always wherever the best quality exists. no steroids are in our milks and nothing is preserved with chemicals you can’t pronounce or wouldn’t want yourself or your family to eat.
There’s no such thing as a “day old” pastry at flour. sugar. eggs. We have arrangements with local charities that we work with at the end of every day, so typical food service waste doesn’t exist here.
the bakery is open 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm. it’s something you can count on whenever you want to pop in for a quick croissant & espresso, soup & a sandwich, or just don’t feel like cooking and want to grab some quality take out to enjoy at your home or office. the hot panini sandwiches, refreshing salads or creamy quiche, paired with our locally roasted award winning coffee is sure to make everything better.
